Ich würde noch einen Schritt weiter gehen und alle Beiträge nach Post 96 löschen.

Ich glaube, ich habe meine Absicht für diesen Beitrag in Post 95 deutlich gemacht.

Mit einem offensichtlichen Verständnis meiner Beweggründe von einigen der intelligenteren Mitglieder der Website. Ich stimme zu, dass es nicht ideal für Mitglieder ist, die späteren Beiträge zu lesen.

 

I'd like to share an English site that sends you an email about saxophones that are up for auction. The notification emails are free, and you can bid online through this site. They make money when you bid online through their site, as they add buyer's fees. It's cheaper to search online for the named auction house, as you only pay the standard fees for that particular auction house.

Above are the details available when you click on your email.

There is a first step to register your email, which is free.
I hope it may be of interest for some members or there may be a German equivalent.

 

@jimi - Allow me just a few thoughts in your native tongue to avoid a “lost in translation”:

Your posts on an auction in UK appear somewhat misplaced in a years-old thread on a particular, serial-numbered Selmer instrument.
A separate topic could have been more appropriate and might have made it clearer, that you are pointing to a UK auction house and not your own offering of a Selmer.

We all know, that User ((...administrativ entfernt...)), at times, only reads those fractions of posts he can jump on to burst his opinions, thoughts, wisdom or the absence of it all.
And we all know, that he can be utterly rude in tone, self centric, and stubborn in his frequent arguments.

Unfortunately this also holds true for several other users in this forum, at least occasionally. Me included.

((...administrativ entfernt...)), however, is, just as you are, an accepted member of our community and not a troll.

If you don’t like, what someone writes, you are free to ignore it (or, eventually, ignore the entire user in your settings panel).
Your insisting and extending the story with numerous screenshots doesn’t make things any better.

May I kindly suggest to put this whole thing to bed, right now?

Yes I agree, I suppose I was carrying it on a bit too far. Possibly getting to the point of appearing guilty.

Adding it to a current post was perhaps, in my mind at least, was not to consider it a major statement, and more of a jovial afterthought. I didn’t research the instrument myself which I generally would do, but just to throw it in the mix for a bit of lightheartedness. But of course some of us are more serious and it’s sometimes difficult to express your motives to strangers on the internet.

 

Vielen Dank jedenfalls all jenen, die zum Thema geschrieben haben. Ich habe mir eure Ratschläge notiert und werde da mal vorbeischauen, sobald es zeitlich passt. So lange bleibt das Mark VI einfach bei mir

Ich entschuldige mich aufrichtig dafür, dass ich Ihren Thread entführt habe. Ich wünsche Ihnen alles Gute mit Ihrem Mark V1

 

Du weißt gar nichts über meine Person. Im Sinne aller zu sprechen steht dir nicht zu, mich persönlich anzugehen auch nicht.

Zum Verständnis: ich habe den Thread komplett gelesen (entgegen bösartig formulierter Unterstellungen eines anderen FM) und dahingehend verstanden, dass @jimi zunächst geklärt haben wollte, was für ein Modell hinter der angegebenen Seriennummer steckt bzw wert das Instrument haben könnte. So wie dann den weiteren Verlauf verstanden habe, wollte er dieses Instrument verkaufen bzw einen Verkauf vermitteln. Er selbst wollteDa es sich aber um ein Alto handelte, war mein anfängliches Kaufinteresse erloschen (bei einem tenor hätte das ev anders ausgesehen). Das habe ich so mitgeteilt.

My understanding was you wanted to clarify the particular model and value, because you wanted to buy in an auction. I gave you an idea about the value and some words, not to buy such a high value sax without testing it and without verification of the conditions (technical). Not sure what's wrong with it.
Later i understood, you don't want to buy but sell, or manage a sale. Type of the instrument turned out to be an Alto, which I am not interested in (i own 8). Again, not sure what is wrong to tell you what is wrong to tell you that i don't give you an offer and why.
Misunderstanding?? If so I feel sorry and my apologies.

Du erzählst in geschätzt jedem vierten oder fünften Beitrag von Dir, Deiner Befindlichkeit und dem Universum, das um Dich kreist.
Bei über 10.000 Posts kommt da schon was zusammen…

Ich weiß zum Beispiel, dass Du entweder nicht liest, was andere schreiben oder das Gelesene nicht verstehst.
Weder auf Deutsch noch auf Englisch.

Ich weiß auch, dass Du deswegen gerade mal wieder jemanden im hohen Bogen anpisst, der Dich eigentlich gegen den Vorwurf, ein Troll zu sein, verteidigt hat.
